Motor Controller and Driver

A motor controller and a driver are required to operate our standard positioning stages. The following System Guide provides a general schematic for selecting appropriate controllers and drivers. When controlling from a personal computer, use an RS-232C interface and select a motor controller with a built-in motor driver. When controlling from a motion control board mounted in a personal computer, select one of the stepper motor drivers. When controlling via a sequencer, either add a positioning unit compatible with the sequencer and connect directly to a stepper motor driver, or go through an RS-232C unit to a motor controller with a built-in motor driver
